In this project we had to take this picture of a car by Noelle Jacobs and edit it to make the background black, get rid of reflections of light off of the hood and tint the window. BeforeAfterThe recolorbefore after This was a cool project and it was and was on the easier side but was still a little difficult. This will help me edit my pictures in the future.
I like taking a walk in the woods so why not take pictures! I Live near woods so I think I can capture nature like these pictures below.
In this Assignment, I took pictures of food at red robin, I got a lot of strange looks from the people around us but overall the shooting went well. I learned to always have a plan when going into a place to take pictures that will differently help me in the future. These pictures are the best ones from the group. This picture is the best out of the lot. This picture was taken with an F stop of 3.2 and a Shutter speed of 1/17 of a second, as well as an ISO of 471. I did not edit this photo in anyway.
Shutter SpeedIt is really hard to see but in the first photo with the f-2.8 there is more depth of field then in the last picture with the F 7.4. A fast shutter speed makes motion stop in a picture and less light to enter the sensor. (see image 4 in shutter speed)A slow shutter speed with cause motion blur and more light to enter the sensor. (see image 1 in shutter speed)It causes a deep depth of field and lets in less light. It causes a shallow depth of field and lets more light. For my first photo assignment I will be taking pictures of everyone's favorite subject... food! Since i'm an teen, I eat a lot. So whats better then taking pictures of something that I love and have around always.
In this project I will hope to get better at taking pictures with lots of depth of field and also framing the shot correctly. In this project the class took pictures to get used too and learn composition as well as our cameras. Depth of FieldTextureColorBalenceBreak in the PatternLinesSymmetry PerspectiveFramingSpaceRule of thirdsIn this project I learned how to operate my camera, and take pictures with it as well as getting good photos with good composition.
This is, well my blog and I am Colin. I'm making a post to tell a little about myself, Im 15 and in 10th grade. I like photography but I don't want to be a photographer, more just as a hobby. This is where I will archive all the photos I will take for myself and for the class.
A little more about my self. I'm not the type for school clubs or sports, but i'm pretty good in a backyard soccer game. Many people think that I should play for the school, but I'm not good under pressure so I don't. I come from a family of four, five if you count the dog. My dog is named snowy, I love her and she's just is ok with me, don't know why she doesn't like me sometimes. Then my parents, and my sister. |
