Shutter SpeedIt is really hard to see but in the first photo with the f-2.8 there is more depth of field then in the last picture with the F 7.4. A fast shutter speed makes motion stop in a picture and less light to enter the sensor. (see image 4 in shutter speed)A slow shutter speed with cause motion blur and more light to enter the sensor. (see image 1 in shutter speed)It causes a deep depth of field and lets in less light. It causes a shallow depth of field and lets more light.

For my first photo assignment I will be taking pictures of everyone's favorite subject... food! Since i'm an teen, I eat a lot. So whats better then taking pictures of something that I love and have around always.
In this project I will hope to get better at taking pictures with lots of depth of field and also framing the shot correctly. In this project the class took pictures to get used too and learn composition as well as our cameras. This is, well my blog and I am Colin. I'm making a post to tell a little about myself, Im 15 and in 10th grade. I like photography but I don't want to be a photographer, more just as a hobby. This is where I will archive all the photos I will take for myself and for the class.
A little more about my self. I'm not the type for school clubs or sports, but i'm pretty good in a backyard soccer game. Many people think that I should play for the school, but I'm not good under pressure so I don't. I come from a family of four, five if you count the dog. My dog is named snowy, I love her and she's just is ok with me, don't know why she doesn't like me sometimes. Then my parents, and my sister. |
